HFKD is proud to announce its upcoming solo exhibition with Bruno Zhu ’Men at Work’ opening 12 September.

The commission is a collaboration with O–Overgaden in Copenhagen, where another solo exhibition will open on the same day, disseminating Zhu’s manifold practice in two projects across the country. The exhibitions will mark Zhu’s first solo commissions in Denmark.

Bruno Zhu (b. 1991, PT) lives and works between Portugal and the Netherlands. Recent projects include exhibitions in Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian, Lisbon (2026); M HKA, Antwerp (2025); Chisenhale Gallery, London (2024); and Veronica, Seattle (2024). Since 2016, Zhu has run the curatorial programme A Maior from his parents’ home furnishings and clothing store in Viseu, Portugal.

On September 12, HFKD will further open an exhibition by make-up effects and prosthetic designer Thomas Foldberg as part of the exhibition series SAGA.
